SPONSOR TRANSCEND @ the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival

Please join us in supporting socially conscious, hip hop theater!

TRANSCEND is my new one man show which examines gentrification & homelessness for a working artist in modern day Brooklyn, NY.  I am honored to have been selected to participate in the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival this summer, for 5-nights between August 12th-28th, 2016.  On June 17th, 2016 I launched a community performance fundraiser featuring some of TRANSCEND's artistic collaborators at Under St. Marks Theater in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan.  It was a huge success in motivating the TRANSCEND production team to begin the long road ahead this summer in developing new work!

We recognized that we needed to do more in our community fundraising efforts.  As a result, I have set-up an online Paypal account in order to request financial sponsorship from my community.  Please consider sponsoring the world premiere of TRANSCEND at the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival.  I will include all contributors within the production program which will be given to all audience members at the show.  If you would like to contribute more than $50 I will mail you an original UNiVERSALself t-shirt and include your name within our website/social media pages.

The goal of TRANSCEND is to raise awareness around the issue of gentrification in New York City and across America.  I will utilize the fringeNYC as a platform to launch into the 2016/2017 academic calendar through a national college/university tour.  In addition, I have just signed a contract with Horse Trade Theater Group in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan to produce TRANSCEND for 5 nights in January of 2017.  And my fingers are crossed because there are talks that TRANSCEND may be able to be showcased at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) gathering in NYC around that same time (mid-January of 2017).

Thank you for your ongoing love and support!  No matter what, let us all TRANSCEND!

Sincerely;
Kilusan Bautista

  1. Thanks to the staff at this place for making our event so enjoyable and if I ever get married. I know where to go! Great job all of you. Price at San Francisco venues was not too bad, considering the quality of food and beverages. Everything at this place was excellent.
